When You Have All The Programs Needed Continue Here!
Step 1. Building And Converting Your Deck.
First build a deck with Deckmaker. To get your decks working in CardTable you need to
convert them. Do it like this: Go to the folder where you unzipped Deckmaker and click
on a program named wd2ctd and click on convert. Chance the format to .deck and select
the deck you want to convert and then save it in the cardtable/decks folder.
Step 2. Practicing Off-Line With CardTable.
After the converting stuff you can open your deck in CardTable. Do it like this: Click
on File and then select Get Cards. There is 3 different areas in CardTable, now I'm
going to tell you which is which.
The Green Area. The Table
This area is the Table where you put everything you deploy and your all piles like you
would play live in a shop or somewhere.
The Blue Area. Your Hand.
This area is your hand where you hold only your hand. Use this area too if you seach
any pile. NOTE: Opponent can never see cards in this area, not even if their face up.
The Red Area. Opponents Hand.
This area is your opponents hand which works exacly like your hand.
The White Area. The Chat Area.
This area is a Chat area where you can talk to your opponent when your playing on-line.
Shortcuts And Things You Need To Know.
Shortcuts.
- S = Stack and pile or your hand.
- H = Horizonlize any pile or your hand.
- V = Verticalize any pile or your hand.
- Ctrl - S - C = Shuffle any pile
Moving and Flipping The Cards.
To move a single card just Left click on it and drag it where you want.
To move a pile of cards do the same but hold Ctrl key down.
To flip a single card just Right click on it.
To flip a pile of cards do the same but hold Ctrl key down.
That's all you need to know about CardTable. Now we can practice Connecting to other
players and start your own server.
Step 2. Using CardTable On-Line.
Now i teach you to play on-line with CardTable. To play one of you must start a Server.
Be sure your Connected to Internet!
Connecting To Other Players.
First open CardTable and then click on File and then on Connect. In the adress field
type the IP adress you got from the player who started the server, if not ask him.
NOTE: The port is alway the same. When your connected just Get Cards and start the game.
Starting Your Own Server.
First open CardTable and then click on File and then Start Server. Then CardTable wants
to know your IP. (You can check your IP adress by clicking on the Start Button, then Run,
and type in the field, winipcfg). Then you only have to tell your opponent your IP adress
and tell him to connect. When he's connected just Get Cards and start the game.
